V2 Presents Marketing Assistant Job Description
Position Details:
- Non-festival weeks: 10-15 hours a week
- Festival weekends: 10-12 hours per day
- Compensation: $15 an hour
Requirements:
- Passion for dance music and music festivals
- Familiarity with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
- Experience in creating digital content such as social media posts, short videos, or live videos
- Interest in social media trends and copywriting
- Basic knowledge or interest in website editing
- Preferred but not required: Experience or interest in graphic design
Responsibilities:
- Assist Marketing Director with all marketing responsiblites
- Create and distribute engaging content across multiple social media channels
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for new social media content
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and algorithms
- Assist with customer service inquiries through social media and email
- Help schedule and coordinate new show announcements
- Assist with website content management and updates
- Attend V2 events to gather content and create social media content on-site
- Assist with gear preparation for festivals
- On-site festival support for the marketing team
As a member of our small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn about festival event management and marketing for a festival/concert promoter. Please note that these responsibilities may evolve as needed to support our marketing team.
