Get Freaky 2023 Festival Guide

The ultimate guide for Get Freaky Festival 2023 happening on October 27th, 28th and 29th now relocated to the Utah State Fairpark!

Welcome to your ultimate guide for Get Freaky Festival 2023! As we gear up for a memorable weekend at our new home, the Utah State Fairpark, we’ve compiled all the crucial details you’ll need to navigate the festival seamlessly.

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL

Get Freaky Festival 2023 has moved to the Utah State Fairpark.

Venue- Utah State Fairpark 155 N 1000 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116

Parking- Parking is $20 per car per day. Parking is limited on festival grounds, carpooling is highly encouraged. Parking is first come first serve.

The main parking lot at the Utah State Fairpark is located at 1098 W 200 N Parking Lot. 

The secondary lot that will open once the main lot has been filled is located at 1137 W. North Temple.

Rideshare– Uber, Lyft and Taxis will pick up and drop off. Schedule your rides ahead of time. A rideshare (Uber/Lyft) drop-off/pickup is located on 300 N on the North side of the fair park. 

TRAX- TRAX Fairpark Station operates from approximately 5:30 A.M. to 10:50 P.M. Monday thru Saturday every 15 minutes. Sunday from 6:00 A.M. until 10:50 p.m every 30 minutes. The Fairpark Station is on the Green Line.

FrontRunner- The nearest FrontRunner station operates Monday through Friday from approximately 5:10 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. and Saturday from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. FrontRunner does not operate on Sunday.

ENTERING THE FESTIVAL

Doors open at 4PM.

The entry to the festival is located at the main entry gates at The Utah State Fairpark. On 1000 West. 

When you arrive at the entry of the festival, there will be separate entry lines for 3-DAY pass holders, Single Day pass holders and VIP pass holders. Go to the Box Office located to the left of the entry gates, if you have any questions.

3-DAY GA Wristband Exchange + Entry Line – use this line if you have NOT traded your ticket for a 3-DAY GA Wristband yet. You can also use this line if you already have your wristband. If you have not, you will be provided with one in this line. This line is located in front of the main entry gates to the venue. 

3-DAY VIP Wristband Entry Line – use this line if you have AND if you have not received your 3-DAY VIP Wristband. If you have not, you will be provided with one in this line. This line is located in front of the main entry gates to the venue. 

Single Day Entry Line – use this line if you have a single day ticket. This line is located in front of the main entry gates to the venue.

ALLOWED ITEMS

The venue and security team do not and do allow certain items inside the venue due to security reasons. For a comprehensive list of what is allowed visit the link below. If your item is not listed it’s best to leave at home. All items denied by security will need to be returned to your home or car. We are not responsible for any left items on festival grounds.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

The Clear Bag Policy will be strictly enforced at Get Freaky Festival. Unapproved bags will not be allowed in the venue. Each attendee is allowed ONE BAG! 

WRISTBANDS


Before entering the festival 3 Day pass holders will exchange their ticket for a 3 Day wristband. Your wristband grants you entry into the festival on all 3 days. 

Keep it on all weekend, do not remove it. Your wristband will not be replaced if it’s lost, cut or altered.
Visit the Box Office if you have any issues or questions regarding your wristband.


INSIDE THE FESTIVAL


If you have any questions or need assistance during the event you can visit the Lost & Found or ask any V2 Crew member (in black V2 CREW shirts), Security (in bright yellow shirts) or venue staff and they can assist you.

FIRST AID


If you need medical assistance during the festival visit the first aid booth located at the Zion building behind the concessions area. You will never be in trouble for seeking medical assistance. 

LEAVING THE FESTIVAL


You will exit the festival grounds through the main entry gates. We recommend scheduling your rideshare pick up time.
