Here is a list of FAQ about Get Funky Festival plus a full list of what you can and cannot bring inside and what forms of IDs are accepted for entry to Get Funky Festival 2021!

WHEN AND WHERE IS GET FUNKY 2021?
May 28th and 29th at The Saltair in Salt Lake City, Utah.

WILL YOU RELEASE THE SET TIMES BEFORE GET FUNKY?
Yes, set times will be released sometime during the week prior to the event. Set times are subject to change.

WHAT TIME DOES THE FESTIVAL BEGIN AND END?
Get Funky Festival hours: 7:00 pm – 2:00 am each night

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO ARRIVE?
We open gates at 7PM and the busiest point of the night ranges from 8-11PM. Always arrive earlier than the time you want to be inside to allow time for parking and getting through security. We do our best to keep the flow of lines moving and appreciate your patience!

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Get Funky Festival happens rain or shine!

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH PARKING?
Parking is limited on festival grounds, car pooling is highly encouraged. A big priority is to ensure attendees have a smooth and safe travel experience to Get Funky. We are working closely with UDOT and safety officials to ensure a smooth travel experience for all our patrons.

SO WHAT IF I’M NOT DRIVING TO THE SHOW?
Uber, Lyft, taxis and other ride shares will pick up riders at Get Funky Festival. 

WHERE CAN I STORE MY THINGS? DO YOU OFFER LOCKERS?
We will not have lockers on site for this event, please plan accordingly. 

IS THERE CAMPING AT THIS FESTIVAL?
No.

WHERE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR HOTEL?
The Saltair is near the airport so any ‘airport’ area hotels are best. Downtown Salt Lake City is also in the area, about a 10-15 minute drive.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? CAN I SIGN IN SOMEONE UNDER 18?
This is an 18+ event, there are no minors allowed inside the event. You must show proof of age before entering, full list of acceptable forms of ID can be found at the bottom of this page.

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK? OR CAN I GO OUT TO MY CAR AND BACK INSIDE?
There is no re-entry for this event.

ARE VACCINATIONS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY?
No, we do not require vaccinations for entry. But if you bring your vaccination card with you, you can skip the COVID-19 questionnaire and temperature screening. (Bring your vaccine card= get in quicker). We will also accept a photo of your vaccine card.

WHAT COVID PRO-TOCOLS ARE THERE TO ENTER?

All attendees must complete a Covid-19 screening questionnaire on the day of the event or show proof of vaccination. You will need to fill this questionnaire out prior to arriving at the venue. Once in line show your GREEN CHECKMARK to the staff then our temperature screening kiosk will read your temperature. Masks are highly encouraged but not required for entry.

HOW DO I BRING MY MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION?
If you do need to bring a medical prescription in, you can check in with the security manager at the front gates.

CAN I BRING IN MY VAPE GEAR?
Vapes and vape juice are allowed inside. You can only bring in unopened bottles of vape juice though.

CAN I BRING A SIGN OR TOTEM?
Totems are not allowed at Get Funky Festival 2021 this includes retractable flagpoles. Hand held signs are ok.

CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
We do not allow outside cameras inside of Get Funky Festival without prior approval for press and media.

CAN I BRING MY CAMEL-BAK, HYDRATION PACKS AND EMPTY WATER BOTTLES?
Camel-baks or hydration packs are allowed at Get Funky Festival, empty water bottles are not. Camel-baks or hydration packs must be empty upon arrival. And they will not be allowed in 21+ Bar area, please plan accordingly. There will be a water refill station outside and water for sale inside along with drinking fountains.

I’M A BLOGGER OR APART OF THE MEDIA CAN I GET A PRESS PASS?

CAN I USE MY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD INSIDE? DO YOU HAVE ATMS?
Yes, you can use your plastic. To purchase tickets, merch, food etc.. Parking is cash only. There are ATMs located inside the event.

DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKET OR CAN I BRING IT ON MY PHONE?
You can print your ticket OR bring it on your phone. Make sure you’ve downloaded the scannable code before you arrive at the venue as service issues have been known to happen.

WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY ONLINE TICKET?

I HAVE A TEMPORARY ID. I LOST MY ID. WHAT CAN I BRING INSTEAD?

I LOST SOMETHING, HELP!
Lost and Found will be open from 5:00PM until 2:00AM each day of the festival. Once the festival is over Lost and Found items will be posted inside the Facebook event on Monday at 2PM.

ALLOWED ITEMS:

  • Sealed travel sized hand sanitizer
  • Camelbacks or hydration packs – Must be empty upon arrival
  • Small bags, single compartment regular-size/unframed backpacks and purses, fanny packs. Large bags will not be allowed in the bar area
  • Prescription Meds- Must show physicians prescription and consult with the Security manager upon entry
  •  Tobacco items (cigarettes, chew, etc.) Must be sealed
  • E-cigs/Vapes/Mechanical Mods extra e-cig batteries, sealed bottles of E-Juice
  • Polaroid film cameras
  • Portable phone chargers
  • Earplugs
  • Chapstick
  • Hula hoops including led hoops, staffs, POI, and other large flow toys
  • Flags/banners or handmade signs. Cannot be attached to a pole of any sort – totems and flag poles are not allowed
  • EL wire
  • Mascot and inflatable costumes – must be deflated through security
  • Face masks

NOT ALLOWED:

  • Totems & Flagpoles Includes retractable flagpoles, inflatables and balloons 
  • Outside food or drink
  • Weapons of any kinds including toy or fake weaponsIllegal substances and/or paraphernalia including Vicks
  • Pacifiers or Binkies
  • Gum
  • Headdresses
  • Glow sticks
  • LED gloves or LED microlights- For security reasons these are not allowed to be brought in
  • Digital Cameras of any kind
  • Professional video/audio recording equipment
  • Selfie sticks, GoPro cameras or attachments
  • Laser pointers
  • Markers, sharpies, paint pens, or spray paint
  • Promotional items, samples, giveaways, flyers, or stickers Over the counter medication, liquid makeup or unsealed tampons.
  • Lawn furniture, chairs, tents

ACCEPTED FORMS OF IDS

In order to enter Get Funky Festival 2021 all attendees must show Government Issued form of identification. You must have your ID present with you. Photos of IDs will not grant entry. You will be denied entry if you do not have a form of ID, please do not arrive at the venue without your ID.

  • US Military ID Card
  • Tribal IDs
Forms of ID NOT accepted:
  • Student ID Cards
  • Work ID Cards
  • Birth Certificates
