V2 Presents / Utah State Fairpark Allowed Not Allowed Items List

A complete list of items are allowed and not allowed at events hosted by V2 Presents at the Utah State Fairpark.

To ensure the safety of our patrons, V2 Presents enforces specific guidelines for what items can and cannot be brought into our events at the Utah State Fairpark. Please note that other venues may have different rules, and security personnel will have final say on what is allowed entry.

If we are unable to allow an item into the event, it will be your responsibility to return it to your car or home. Please note that we are not responsible for any items left at the venue.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.


ALLOWED ITEMS

  • Plastic refillable water bottles. (Must be empty)
  • Portable phone chargers
  • Sealed bottles of hand sanitizer (MUST BE SEALED)
  • Sealed packs of tobacco items cigarettes, chew, etc.. (MUST BE SEALED)
  • E-cigs/Vapes/Mechanical Mods extra e-cig batteries, sealed bottles of E-Juice. (MUST BE SEALED)
  • Polaroid film cameras
  • Earplugs
  • Hula hoops including led hoops, staffs, POI, and other large flow toys (will be searched)
  • Glow sticks
  • Glow gloves
  • Face masks
  • Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate/company brands and CANNOT BE ATTACHED TO A POLE OF ANY SORT TOTEMS AND FLAG POLES ARE NOW BANNED)
  • EL wire
  • Mascot Costumes
  • Small blankets
  • Prescription Meds if needed. Only bring enough for what you need during the event. Must show a physician’s prescription and consult with the Security Manager upon entry.
  • Narcan & Naloxone (nasal spray only)
  • Chapstick
  • Sunscreen (Travel size/lotion only, no aerosol MUST BE SEALED)
  • Bug Spray (No aerosol cans MUST BE SEALED)
  • Plushies or stuffed animals that are smaller than a fist

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED

  • All purses, bags or containers larger than a small clutch bag that are not clear:
    • Backpacks
    • Briefcases
    • Camera bags
    • Cinch bags
    • Computer bags
    • Luggage of any kind
  • TOTEMS & FLAGPOLES (includes retractable flagpoles, inflatables and balloons)
  • Pacifiers or binkies.
  • Large Plushies, lovies, stuffed animals, and stuffies. (Stuffed animal’s smaller than a fist OK)
  • Native American Headdresses
  • Outside food, drinks and candy
  • Alcohol
  • Weapons of any kinds
  • Illegal substances and/or paraphernalia including Vicks
  • Digital Cameras of any kind
  • Professional video/audio recording equipment
  • Professional still camera equipment with a detachable lens longer than 2 inches, tripods, big zooms, or commercial-use rigs
  • Selfie sticks, GoPro cameras or attachments
  • Lawn furniture, chairs, tents or blow up furniture
  • Umbrellas
  • Laser pointers
  • Glass or metal containers of any kind
  • Markers, sharpies, paint pens, or spray paint
  • Promotional items, samples, giveaways, flyers, or stickers
  • Over the counter medication, liquid makeup or unsealed tampons.
  • Gum

CLEAR BAG POLICY

V2 Presents events at the Utah State Fairpark will adhere to the new CLEAR BAG POLICY. Each attendee To ensure a safe and enjoyable festival experience for everyone, V2 Presents enforces a clear bag policy. Each attendee is permitted to bring ONE bag, falling into one of the following approved categories:

Clear Bags

  • Material: Plastic, vinyl, or PVC.
  • Size: Must not exceed 16″ in length, 6″ in width, and 12″ in height.

Plastic Storage Bag

  • Type: Clear, one-gallon, resealable.

Small Clutch Purses/Fanny Packs

  • Size: No larger than 14″ in length and 8″ in height, with or without a handle or strap.
  • Clarity: These do not need to be clear.

Hydration Packs

  • Compartments: No more than three.
  • Size: Must not exceed 16″ in length and 12″ in height.
  • Clarity: These do not need to be clear.

*Please make sure your bag fits within the dimensions listed above, security staff will be measuring bags and if they are larger than the above dimensions they will be denied


Security and staff have the discretion to allow and not allow any items they find dangerous or unsuitable.

If we are unable to allow an item into the event, it will be your responsibility to return it to your car or home. Please note that we are not responsible for any items left at the venue.
